I’m not actually a hare in a suit. My name is Devan Hare, and I’m a Designer/Frontend Developer. I’ve been building websites since 2017, but went full time at the beginning of 2020. I’ve spent my time soaking up as much as possible. In April, 2021 I began working at an agency called Few. My goal is to get 1% better every day.

Began learning about web development, marketing, and SEO, primarily out of a need to market a book that I wrote and self-published. I built my first few websites with SquareSpace.
Decided to move forward with development as a career path and started the Front-end Web Development Tech Degree at Team Treehouse.
After completing my Tech Degree I founded Hare Development and started Freelancing. I mostly used Wordpress or an HTML stack to build websites.
Began working with Square Six in downtown Siloam Springs, AR. Blake, the owner of the company contacted me to help with a project and hired me on a contract basis to tackle their web development projects.
Shortly after starting at Square Six, I became even more motivated to expand my development knowledge and started adding frameworks like React and Gatsby to my toolbelt.
The deeper I went into the data side of development the more I missed the creative side. I have an appreciation for data and API's, but I missed getting to create visuals. I started Flux Academy in January to pursue design along with Front-end Development. I believe I found my true passion.
In April of 2021 I began working full time for an agency called "We are Few". I'm a Full Stack Designer, so I get to work on projects as a designer and a developer and I love it! I'm still taking new projects through Hare Development, but on a more selective basis.
I'm constantly learning and growing full time as a developer and designer. If I'm not working on a project, I'm brushing up or learning something new.
